THE INTERNET ALLIANCE: WHO WE ARE
The Internet Alliance has been the only consistent voice representing
Internet companies in the 50 states. The IA has a proven track record
of blocking or mitigating privacy and anti-spam legislation, and
a high level of expertise in the Internet state tax area.
The Internet Alliance seeks to empower and educate state legislators
about the nature of the Internet so they can make informed decisions,
while preventing short-sighted laws that will hurt both the industry
and consumers.
Our Mission Statement
Through public policy, advocacy, and strategic alliances, the Internet
Alliance is building the confidence and trust necessary for the
Internet to be the most dynamic market medium of the 21st century.

- Expanding membership to increase clout
